Are there storage facilities for my bike?

There is a video-monitored storage room where you can comfortably store your bike, which is locked at night and can be opened during the day only for guests with access authorization.

Can I take my bike to the room?

We also allow our guests to take their bicycles to the room if the guest wishes.

Can I rent bikes in the hotel or the surrounding area?

You can rent mountain bikes or e-bikes (for a fee) at the hotel. Otherwise, there is a large selection right nearby at Intersport Scholz.

Is there an e-charging station?

Yes, we have an e-charging station for your e-bikes that can be used free of charge.

Are there single rooms?

Yes, the hotel also has single rooms, all info about our single rooms you can find here.

Can I rent a helmet at the hotel?

Yes, you can borrow a helmet free of charge at the hotel if you wish.

Where is there a store for wheels or where can I have a service done?

Only 3 minutes walk away is the sports store Intersport Scholz, where you can buy all the important utensils or even rent bikes.

For professionals, there is also a special bike store "Bigtime" in Maishofen, which is about 5 kilometres away, where you can get advice from real cycling professionals and also have professional bikes serviced.

How far away is the Großglockner?

The toll station Großglockner, which is the starting point for the Großglockner High Alpine Road, is only 20 kilometres away. We recommend starting this bike tour early because the road is also used by cars and of course there is more traffic during the day.

Is there someone at the hotel who can advise me?

The boss Karl himself is a passionate cyclist and likes to recommend routes. Also, of course, the is always available for other questions. Here even a few videos from him.

How will I be catered for on site?

There is an extensive rich breakfast buffet from 7:30 am. Gladly, however, on request earlier. In the evening we offer with our half board a 5-course dinner menu OR you can also dine in our a la carte restaurant with a guest garden.
