With bus & train through the Pinzgau - free of charge!
The mobility card makes it possible
What if we told you that from the first day of your holiday to the last, you could do without a car?! And let's face it, in a time when we are constantly on the move and scurry from one place to another, it can be incredibly liberating to simply leave the car behind on holiday.
The Pinzgau Mobility Card makes it possible: from your first night in our hotel, you will be given the Zell am See-Kaprun Mobility Card and can use all public transport, the train, the Postbus and the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn free of charge. The Pinzgau Mobility Card is the perfect way to get around.
Stressful car journeys and the constant search for parking spaces are thus a thing of the past. A car-free holiday allows you to explore our beautiful region in a sustainable way, discover new things and take more time for yourself to enjoy the moment much more intensively.
Excursion destinations & Attractions
conveniently by public transport
During your summer holiday with us at the hotel, you can easily reach excursion destinations and sights by public transport.
We have put together a few of our favourite mountain & valley attractions for you.
Have fun discovering them :)

Hochgebirgsstauseen Kaprun
The two high mountain reservoirs, Wasserfallboden and Mooserboden, are embedded in the alpine landscape like fjords at 2,036 metres above sea level. The turbines are hidden in the mighty dam walls that keep the turquoise water in check: this is how electricity is generated all year round. You can visit this interplay of nature and technology in summer on a guided tour of the dam walls or use the high mountain reservoirs as a starting point for hikes. And if you dare, you can even climb the dam wall via a via ferrata route.

Kitzsteinhorn
The Kitzsteinhorn is the impressive guardian of the Zell am See-Kaprun region: as a prominent peak in the Hohe Tauern, it shapes the appearance of the region. With the most modern cable cars, you can safely and comfortably float up to over 3,000 metres above sea level to enjoy an incomparable view of the sea of peaks from the "Top of Salzburg" panorama platform. Once at the top, you will find yourself at the highest point in SalzburgerLand that is accessible to everyone.

Krimmler Wasserfälle
The water masses plunge an unbelievable 380 metres over three steep steps, creating an impressive natural spectacle: the Krimml Waterfalls are a centre of attraction for visitors from all over the world. The particularly impressive location at the end of the valley, the large masses of water and the extraordinary drop height of 380m over three steps make the Krimml Waterfalls the fifth highest waterfalls in the world. A four-kilometre hiking trail, with numerous starting points and pulpits, takes you very close to Europe's highest waterfall.

Wild- und Erlebnispark Ferleiten
Here, the heart of animal lovers beats faster: In the Ferleiten Wildlife Park and Adventure Park you can observe up to 200 animal species that are native to the Alps. In the petting zoo you can observe and touch the animals up close, and in the exhibition pavilion of the Hohe Tauern National Park you can dive deep into the life of primeval trout & Co. After the discovery tour - which, by the way, is also suitable for prams - the sun terrace of the rustic Wildpark-Alm is a tempting place, while the little visitors let off steam on the more than 40 pieces of playground equipment in the adventure park.

Maisi Flitzer
Your adventure begins at the Maiskogel in Kaprun: On 365 days a year, the Maisi Flitzer provides plenty of action: on the Alpine Coaster you whizz down from the Maiskogel to the valley in a toboggan and on rails at up to 40km/h. You master bridges, waves and gyrations like on a roller coaster and are sometimes up to eleven metres above the ground. Just like on a roller coaster, you'll master bridges, waves, steep curves and roundabouts, and in some places you'll be up to eleven metres above the ground! In addition to the all-year-round toboggan run Maisi Flitzer a family and leisure park awaits you in summer with a slide paradise, bouncy castle land and many other play stations. And if hunger and thirst come knocking in between, the Maisi Alm is the first address for delicious snacks and fresh drinks.

Schaubergwerk Leogang
"Good luck" in Saalfelden Leogang!
In the middle of the Schwarzleo Valley you will find traces of mining that goes back as far as the 14th century. Well-trained guides have a wealth of historical knowledge and revive old traditions. After an exciting hike through the medieval tunnels, the cosy Knappenstube invites you to linger in a rustic ambience. NEW: Loigom shuttle stop directly in front of the Unterberghaus!
