Salzburg airport is 80 km away from the hotel. The airport in Munich is 200km away from the hotel.

We are happy to book an airport shuttle for you (for a fee).

Please enter the address when travelling: Sebastian-Hörl-Straße 5 in your GPS system. There you will find our car park right next to the hotel entrance, as well as our parking garage (please note: up to 1.80m high). Parking is free for direct bookers. For all other bookers a fee of € 10,- per day/car will be charged.

The train station Zell am See is only 3-4 minutes walk away from the hotel. Otherwise there is a taxi stand directly in front of the station exit.

We also have a cocktail bar in the hotel.

You are welcome to store your bicycle in our bike storage room, which is locked during the night. You are also allowed to take your bike into the room.

The main bus stop of Zell am See at Postplatz is only 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

The Casino Zell am Se is only 150 meters away from the hotel.

The booking conditions according to the Austrian hotel regulations apply. If otherwise, this will be mentioned in the reservation confirmation. This means in detail that

• until 4 weeks before arrival, we charge 0% (no costs)
• from 4 to 1 week before arrival, we charge 70%
• from 7 to 0 days before arrival or in case of "No Show", we charge 100%

of the total arrangement price.

Cancellation due to an official requirement in connection with Covid-19 (e.g. quarantine due to a travel warning or lockdown) is a free reason for cancellation up to the day of arrival. A Covid-19 infection does not count as a free reason for cancellation. We recommend taking out travel insurance.

Checkin time for the hotel rooms & suites is 2 pm. If you arrive earlier, we will of course make every effort to have the rooms ready for you as soon as possible. Check-out time is at 10 a.m. on the day of departure. If you arrive later than 8 p.m., please let us know and we will be happy to explain the late check-in.

You are welcome to store your luggage safely in our luggage room at any time and to use a shower for a fee on the day of departure in case of a late departure.

In case of an early departure we will prepare a packed lunch for you.

• Vouchers and booking requests cannot be redeemed directly at the hotel. Please contact the provider for your booking!
• The free contingents can be seen online at the booking platform. If your desired date is not available, then this is not possible with redemption of the voucher.
• Surcharges for extra nights, upgrades, extra people in the room, dogs, etc. you can also find out at the booking platform.
• With your booking the dinner costs 49 EUR per person/night. Your value voucher will be offset against this. The difference is to be paid on the spot.
• The local tax and parking fee are to be paid on site.
• Your voucher includes a double room. The category depends on availability on the day of arrival. If you wish a certain category, you can fix this room type with an extra charge when booking.

We have two saunas (bio sauna and Finnish sauna), a Kneipp bath and a relaxation room. This area is open on request until 8 pm. You are welcome to borrow bathrobes and slippers at the reception free of charge. We do not have a swimming pool in the hotel, but the next indoor swimming pool Zell am See is only 2 walking minutes distance away from the hotel.

Free Wifi is available anywhere in the hotel. And there is an internet station in the lobby.

Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn is about 10km from the hotel, with the bus about 30 minutes. By car, you can reach it in about 10-15 minutes. The ski lift ticket for Zell am See in winter is also valid in the Kaprun ski area.

The lake, the nearest beach bath, as well as the ship dock Zell am See for a comfortable round trip with the MS Schmittenhöhe is only 150 meters away from the hotel.

We do not offer a laundry service in the hotel, but the next laundry shop is only 3 minutes walking distance.

The local tax is not included and amounts to € 2,05 per night and person.

We are right in the centre of Zell am See. The nearest shopping facilities, pharmacy, tobacconist, bars, restaurants, ski lift, lake and train station are within walking distance.

You are also welcome to have breakfast with us or enjoy our 5-course dinner menu if you are not a guest at Hotel Grüner Baum. External guests pay 25,- EUR per person for breakfast and 49,- EUR per person for our 5-course evening menu.

You can pay at the hotel in cash, by EC card or credit card (Mastercard, Visa or American Express). You are also welcome to pay for your room in advance by bank transfer.

Pets are welcome in our double rooms Classic and Superior (€ 20,- per night without food). Please indicate when booking. However, for hygienic reasons, we must ask you not to bring your four-legged companion into the dining room during breakfast or dinner.

The reception is open for you continuously from 7:30 in the morning to 9 in the evening.

We're a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is possible on the balcony as well as outdoors.

Already in Ski Winter 2019/20, the Ski ALPIN CARD kicks off as the new key to the three premium ski regions Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, Schmitten in Zell am See and Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun. With 408 km of pistes, 119 lifts and a maximum of attractions - including glaciers - the new map promises a sheer endless mountain experience, making it the ticket highlight in the Alpine region. With the ticket network, three premium regions are creating even more comfort and clarity on offer, as in the future uniform prices for ski day passes, ski multi-day passes and seasonal and annual tickets will apply in all three areas.

Our hotel, as well as the apartment building have a ski room, where you can store your skis and warm your boots on a ski boot dryer.

The nearest ski lift is only 5 minutes walking distance away (CityXPress). Via the CityXPress you reach the complete ski area and can also return via a valley run to the CityXPress with skis.

You can reach the Schmittenhöhenbahn by car in 5 minutes and by bus in 10 minutes. The nearest bus stop is only a few minutes walking distance away. There is no hotel ski bus to the slopes.

The ski rental is directly in the hotel. We ask you to submit your request to the ski rental directly here. Hotel guests get -10% discount.

We recommend the Skischule Zell am See, please submit your request directly here. There are group courses, as well as private courses for beginners, advanced and all ages. If you book the ski school, the nearest ski school to the hotel is the CityXPress station.

As our hotel belongs to the Tauernspa-Friends, you are welcome to purchase tickets with -10% discount at the reception at any time.

To fix your reservation we ask you for a deposit of 30%, which you can pay by credit card or bank transfer. The payment modalities as well as payment conditions are again detailed in the reservation confirmation.
